Book one of the five rooms in the new part of the hotel - rooms 901, 902, 903, 904, 905. These rooms are big and nice with fabulous terraces.

When I first stayed here years ago, the neighborhood was just starting to improve and it still felt dicey. Now I love this neighborhood so much, one of my favorites.

The lobby restaurant is jam packed with locals, day and night. Every meal there is good and a nice to have when you don’t feel like going far.

Know: the service at the front desk is a mixed bag - some of the staff are excellent, some are not. Hotel Market while not luxe, is a gem of a spot.
