Hotel Føroyar
Tórshavn, Faroe Islands

HIGHLIGHTS
Føroyar sits up on the hill above the town of Tórshavn so you have the quiet, remote feel paired with a 15 minute walk down to town.
The spa is tops, and reasonably priced, so get all of the services. At the very least book the Rasul, an ancient bathing ritual with mud.
Just good design.
Room stays at the hotel have included a large suite and the smallest room size - both were quite enjoyable. Staying in a room that sits near the spa is nice and the small annex across the way is peaceful if you want to avoid the crowded main hotel.
Delicious breakfast and bites all day long.
For a rainy day, which you will probably have in the Faroes, happily submit to relaxing in the hotel all day.
